I am making an afghan for my son using Bernat Camouflage yarn. The dye lot is the same on all of the skiens, yet the amount of each color is varying with each skien. I have 4 skiens crocheted and have started the fifth. Each skien shows up as a subtle difference in the pattern. My son thinks the difference looks neat, so it is not going to be a problem, but I was wondering about other yarns doing this.

The afghan is turning out beautiful, the color is called Snow Ghost, and is varying shades of an almost white pale grey blue, going to lavender grey, darker grey, deep charcoal and then back. There are little flecks of a medium teal, and a kind of a peach scattered here and there. I'm using the brick stitch, and it's working up very fast.
