I want to make some summer sundresses for the twins. What are some suggestions for brand of yarn/thread to use. The pattern calls for size 3.

If you can't find what the pattern specifies, I have found the Lion Brand yarn substitution page is useful. gives enough info to make it possible to find what you need.

Now I have to say that I don't so a lot of subbing so this may not help you.

Hello,

DMC makes a lovely size 3 thread called DMC senso. It comes in lots of fibers and colors and would probably make a very nice lightweight dress. The link is below. I have used this yarn for smaller projects, and I like the way it works up. It is also relatively inexpensive ($2-3 per 150yd ball). I hope this helps!

I have no idea what to use for summer clothes. I would assume that WW acrylics is just too hot and Sugar and Cream cotton is too stiff. So, what do you use?
