Jewel Box by Caron

Has anyone used the Jewel Box yarn by Caron? My niece has been asking for a poncho (like I made for her little sisters). She was very specific in her color preferences <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/shrug.gif" />. She wants black... with lime green. Today I purchased 3 skeins of their *Obsidian*. It seems to fit the bill. I'm thinking it'll make a great poncho.

:clap My jewel shawl is made with the purple caron jewel box yarn - I LOVE the yarn and I love the way it feels on my arms too. If you are going to do fringe around the poncho? I suggest putting knots at the end of each strand of the fringe or the yarn will split, since the yarn is 3 strands twisted together. Cant wait to see a picture when you're done :wink
