mixing yarns

I have Bernet Big Value and Red Heart Super saver. Both 4 ply. do you think those should mix in an afghan alright? Are most 4 ply the same thickness? (Probably a stupid question, but I'm just checking) Thanks!

I think it should be fine, Amber. You're keeping the weights the same so your guage should be about the same. You might do a small square of each in your basic stitch just to be sure, but other than that it shouldn't be a problem.
