fabric strips

i know just a day or so ago we were talking about using fabric strips for crocheting rugs and baskets.... now i can't find it.
i was going to check out some of the links posted ---poop.
does anyone remember where it is? i tried the search thingy but apparently am not doing it right :thinking2
