Garage sale finds!

I helped my mom with her neighborhood garage sale today and couldn't help but sneak off to check out the competition.

I found 4 small skeins of a very dainty acryclic in a soft lilac color. No lables on it. I'm thinking a light summer shawl would be perfect with this. Paid $1 for that.

What I was really excited about, 5 skeins of what I am 99% sure is Peace Fleece in the Moldova Burgandy color. $2 for all 5 :::squeal:::: I was just checking out their stuff last week and promised myself I could order some after I used up a little of my stash. I think I know several people who will be getting felted purses for Christmas <g>

Believe me, my garage sale luck usually stinks. There were about 40 housing having sales in the neighborhood and this was the only one with any yarn at all. The lady had a big tote full of cheap yarn in tacky colors. I was about to turn away when I saw the Peace Fleece peeking out of another box next to it. The nice acrylic was in there too.

My mom's friend walked up as I was paying, I made her promise not to tattle on me lol!

Don't you just love finding bargains like that!!!

I don't go to garage sales very often but one of my friends goes every week. So I have asked her to be on the look out for yarn for me.
