i think he'd be rather easy to make up, just grab some fun fur lol. just do a round head and a skinny body with long arms and legs. if you need help, i can help you write it out. =)

If you're thinking of trying to make a fun fur toy, see my fuzzy yarn tips and introductory tutorial: http://www.planetjune.com/blog/fuzzy-yarn-tips

should i crochet his head 1st with reg yarn or just do it with the fun fur? How do you see the stiches and the rounds?

I would do it just with fun fur. If you look at my tutorials (link in my message above) you should be able to see how to do it. If you still find it too difficult to see the stitches, you can hold the fun fur together with a strand of another yarn and crochet with both together, but you'll end up with a less fuzzy result if you do that.
Hope that helps!

if you scroll down to toys and dolls, the jack frost doll has really long skinny arms and legs, that are like animals.
just make the head kinda bigger............

To make his mouth I would crochet in the round until I got a half ball, then on the next round I would chain for about 1/3 of the round (maybe 1/2:lol ), and skip that many stitches , then just work into those stitches next time around, and finish the head shape. Next crochet a round circle or oval shape whatever looks like it would fill in the mouth shape if you folded it in half. Just whipstitch it in place.Does that make sense to you?

I agree - that sounds like it would work well!
