I finished my Pensieve I mentioned in the HP CAL. I just did a simple single crochet bowl type with reverse single crochet on the top edging, one strand of ww yarn and an H hook. I then used some metallic thread and embroidered the Ancient writings on it (1930 Gregg shorthand;) ). It's not the best "writing" because I've never embroidered shorthand on something before, let alone on crochet stitches:lol

Close up of the gold and the reverse single crochet around the top.

I'm going to put a bag of chocolate in it and give it to my friend who can come to her Pensieve when she needs a break and to think or not think or to ease the mind...

Oh, it says "Kim and Deborah Friends Forever"...

That is too cute. I like the chocolate idea too, although I think that I would spend too much time infront of the pensieve and then have to ponder the pound or two I gained!!

Is there a pattern written out for the Pensieve?

If so, I would love to make it.

I think it would look good on my boys desks with all their little bits and pieces in it.
