I've spent the last several hours uploading all my crochet pictures to Photobucket and organizing them. What a nice, free service! Here's a photo of three bookmarks I made this past week. (I've never posted a photo before, so I hope this works!) The photo is a little murky because it's a very low resolution camera, but hopefully you can tell that they say "FAITH," "HOPE," and "LOVE."

WOW! I would very much someday like to learn how to do filet crochet. I have tried many times and it just does't sink in! Your work is beautiful! :bang

Thank you, everyone.

The link to the pattern is: http://www.denisecrochets.com/fhlbookmarks.htm

I did stray from the pattern a little because I wanted to be able to use them right-side-up and still have the tassel coming out of the top of the book so it can sit on a shelf.

This was my first time doing filet crochet, and it was so much easier than I thought. Just double crochets and chains. I don't know if all filet is this easy, but I've got more confidence now to try some more projects and find out. :bounce

Most filet crochet is very easy, depending on the complexity of the pattern you're making. My mom has a filet pattern of a peacock sitting on a pedestal and it took her a long time to make it, mostly cause the article is so big. My sister took it before I could see the finished thing though. I really need to get her to send me another copy of it cause I want to make one tooand I lost my copy of it.

Those bookmarks are lovely.

Edit: You have one too many http:// in your link.

And when I take out the extra http:// I get page can't be found, weird.
