Good gift idea or bad

ok I know my pics are not the best but I hope you can see this.
I crocheted the beads onto the wire then wrapped to form a ring.
Would it be an ok gift idea?

well I showed her today ( but said oh look what I made myself what do you think) she said on its cute and artsy...then I knew she would not wear it.
