It turned out OK... the thing I liked best is the fact the hooks really stay in place well..

I just made one for someone, and it was so fun and easy. Now I want to make myself one because it can be adjusted in size to hold any size hooks, from steel to P, and any length hooks (by adding to it).

I have seen that pattern a few times and wondered about making it. I am so sick of searching through my pencil case for a hook. Now that I have heard that it works well I will add it to my wishlist.

This is really cool! I think that will be my next project after I finish my grocery bags. There's only one change I'd make and that would be to put long strings to tie the case closed rather than the button. Just my preference.
