I saw the other thread up in "Other Crochet" and I made this a while ago but decided I really should share it...

it's my own design, basically just a granny square type dog coat.

My favorite part of the sock monkeys is the brown boucile I used, it makes them very fuzzy monkeys and super warm too :)

That is just to cute :yay did you design the square your self or is the pattern available some where? I ask because my granddaughter just loves monkeys and that would be cute as a sweater for her to lol

I adapted the square from SnB. Following that pattern for the squares you should be able to do a sweater.

I used worsted weight and heavy boucile for this one.
