Freeform purse...no...hat...

My friend found a book on free form at the craft store a while ago, and I went home and decided to try it. Eventually I shoved it away in my tub of yarn and forgot about it. A few weeks ago, my friend and I came back to my room after visiting Build a Bear to make a travel bear (we're going abroad at different times and thought it'd be fun to have a bear to travel with us at our different times...college students need teddies, too!). The clothes at Build a Bear are expensive, so we decided to make clothes for him. I was going to make him a Ravenclaw scarf, and she was searching through the yarn and pulled out the half-made purse. She looked at it, plopped it on our bear's head, and declared it a hat. And so we have a purse/hat thing. Strange, but it seems to work on Sir Leo!
