Ok, I'm posting this here because I blame all of you for getting me excited about this round sweater we were posting about earlier this week. I love this pattern and would like to try it.

I'm not sure what yarn or thread substitution I could make though has anyone used the yarn they call for or are familiar with something similar?

Thanks ladies!

Svetlana just posted pictures of her version on this thread: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=52301

She says she used Debbie Bliss cotton DK and a 4mm hook. Here's the link for the yarn: http://www.debbieblissonline.com/yarn/cotton_dk.htm

I was wondering the same thing, but it looks like a J hook and the patterns give you the guage for the first 3 and then 5 rounds, so easily changing in hook sizes if needed.
