:think ok, i have promised my beloved another sweater, but want something blokey that won't bore me to death to crochet. A whole sweater in just hdc was not fun to do, and i put a 'tatto' on one sleeve. What i'd really like to do is a zip up cardi with a hood. I have a ladies pattern for a hooded jacket from drops desgin which has hardly any shaping, but the grouped dc pattern is too girly. I had thought of doing something in an alternating dc/sc pattern or granite stitch. I already have the aran weight wool and would appriciate any advice on patterns out there or design ideas.
