In the last issue of Crochet! magazine there was a pattern by Dora Ohrenstein called Simply Spring Top. I didn't see the magazine, but I looked at their site to find out what the patterns looked like to see if I wanted to get the issue off the newsstand. They don't show the whole picture of the top so I can't see what it really looks like. Does anyone know where I can find a picture of the top or has anyone made it and has a picture to show for it? Thanks for any help

I also saw that top on the Crochet!magazine contents page. I managed to find a full-length photo of it on Dora's website, crochet insider, at the following link

I would love to make this top but unfortunately I don't have access to the pattern since they don't sell the magazine here in Europe.:(

Thanks! You can usually buy back issues of Crochet! on ebay.

Where do you live Mirra? I have an extra copy of Crochet! March 2007. I got a subscription and then joined the Crochet Guild of America where you get a subscription to Crochet! so for the last few months I have received 2. The CGOA one always comes first and it has the newsletter with it so I want to keep that one.

Most publishers will sell you back issues if they have them. They may also do reprints. Call or send email to the editor and/or customer service. Also, don't forget about your local public library - yarn crafts are very popular so they may have an issue or can get the article for you.

Hi yarnyviolet I live in Slovenia even though I am Maltese, I moved here since I married a Slovene guy. Thanks for your offer but i'm afraid that if you would send me your extra copies of Crochet! the postage might be high but I don't know really. Maybe I could find a way to repay you.
They definitely won't have it in the public library here, it is very hard to find crochet books in English here let alone!!

I know how it is because I lived in Germany for 3 1/2 years and didn't speak german. The crochet magazines were mostly thread crochet anyways (on the otherhand the knitting magazines looked fantastic!).

Hi here they also just get basically German crochet mags with loads of doilys. The knitting ones are really nice though but I don't know german either. I can understand the Italian ones though but none seem to have such nice patterns as Crochet!
