The "setting" for the stone is crocheted to fit the uneven shape and extends up on the sides to secure the piece. A little glue was used on the bottom of the rock. The necklace goes with the "Into the Jungle" bag for my sister. The stone is a plain small river rock with the image applied using a transfer medium. Naturally the beads are cheetah spotted.

That is VERY cool! Could you explain how you got the image onto the rock?

I brushed several layers of Liquitex Gloss Medium onto the picture of the cheetah. When it was dry I soaked it in water. Then rubbed the paper off of the back, leaving a very thin layer with the image on it. That was glued onto the rock. There are several brands of image transfer medium specifically made for this but the gloss medium works just as good. "Picture This" is one of the brands. There is also a product I ran across in the Fimo/Sculpy section of Hobby Lobby. It is made for the same purpose but is also bakeable, like the clay. I haven't tried it.
