Anyone have a pattern or idea how to make a bag to keep used plastic grocery bags in? I've seen one somewhere but it was years ago before I picked up knitting or crocheting. It's big at the top to shove 'em in and small at the bottom so you only get 1 (maybe 2) at a time. I use them for my diaper pail.... then I can just take the smelly thing straight to the dumpster at night. :yes Tried the Diaper Genie..... can't afford the refills with 2 smelly little people. Who can keep up?!

Here's a plarn one I really like. Best of all, the materials are free and sturdy!
If you need a tutorial on how to make plarn from old plastic grocery sacks, here's one: http://www.myrecycledbags.com/2007/02/17/instructions-for-cutting-plastic-bags-creating-recycled-plastic-yarn/
If you decide to try this pattern and material out, there's a CAL with "plastic bag" in the title. There's a whole host of folk there who will be willing to encourage you in your efforts.
Best of luck!

Here's some more to choose from. There are lots of patterns out there for that...they are just named differently.
