I have just been asked to crochet some hats for a local designer who would like to buy them from me and sell them here in NZ.
The person who has been doing the hats has gone to Japan and was doing strawberries, pretty hats but not any really boyish hats.
I wondered if any of you lovely ladies had any winter hat patterns you would be kind enough to share, I have lots of links to the sites and am off now to have a look.
Thanks,
Emma

Hi!
You might have better luck if you post in the seeking patterns forum.

However, most patterns you find free or otherwise, will not allow you to sell the finished product. Most free patterns are for personal and charity use.

Quite a few of the purchased patterns are the same.

I do allow the finished items from my patterns to be sold. However, my patterns are all toys. Somehow, I dont think they would keep kids heads warm. :)

you should check out www.crochetgarden.com (http://www.crochetgarden.com) the rugged mountain hats are great for boys and girls. the pattern is written for ages 3 through xl adult. i did a few last winter. my 6 year old loved her pink one and my nephew who is 10 wore one i did in wool-ease instead of the hat his mom picked up.
