Hello everyone I am a newbie here and quite a newbie to crochet too, I am looking for a pattern to make a strawberry tea cosy. My grandmother remembers having one as a girl and Iwould like to make her one as a gift. Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Knitting Fairy (http://www.knittingfairy.com/ItemDesc.asp?item=TC-03) has a strawberry tea cozy for $5
They also have several other tea cozies (http://www.knittingfairy.com/TeaCozies.asp) that are super cute (crochet and knit).

There are some more tea cozies listed here to check out!

Unfortunately....no strawberry one........ but perhaps :think you can use one of the designs here, and useing strawberry colors sort of fiddle with it a bit until you get a strawberry! You can use the other pattern as a sort of guide
Here is a KNIT pattern

If not, here is one on ebay that you can buy....(not a pattern)

You could use this...If you make the top rose green and do the first round of ripple green...then the rest in red...it would look like a strawberry...
