Thank you all for your kind words! I have to say, this is the first type of article of clothing that I have designed. I'm not counting my mitten pattern, because I had made mittens from other patterns before writing up my own pattern. This one was completely off the top of my head, but based on an outfit that my daughter wore when she was about 6 months old (minus the bloomers.) I loved the way the open back looked on that cotton outfit and I thought it would look just gorgeous done in ribbon yarn for a little girl.

If you would like/need a size other than the one that I have written up, I would be more than happy to alter the existing pattern. All I would need is some measurements from the child that it would be going to. Feel free to email me for more information!
