I made this crochet fabric basket for a baby gift. I put items inside to make homemade baby wipes.

The pattern is from a leaflet called "McCall's Creates - Fabric Crochet Gift Baskets". I used 3" strips of material and a "Q" hook.

That is soooo coool!!! I need one of those. And think, if it gets messy, you can just toss it in the wash. sure, it may shed a little, but that's ok... makes it look loved and lived in.

The basket looks very cute. Was it difficult to crochet with the fabric? It looks like it might be tough on your wrists to crochet with it.

Thank you for all your kind comments. Yes, it's a little difficult to crochet with fabric and it is hard on the wrists. I love the end product though. :)

Did you have a hard time getting the RIGHT side of the fabric always facing OUT, or did you ROLL the fabric to keep it in place, or sew it or what? Just curious. Looks like it could get turned around and show the wrong side out?

Adoreable Basket and GREAT idea. KUDOS :clap :cheer I LOVE IT!
