I'm really new to selling anything so this is probably going to sound really... stupid :lol

I registered on Ecrater.Com (http://ecrater.com/) (which is like Ebay) and I'm hoping to sell some of my doilies, etc whenever I have the opportunity to. However I don't have any of my own patterns so I've been using free patterns from personal websites.

I know that before I do anything I will get the creator's permission but is there anything else that I need to be aware of? Can I have any copyright problems even if I get the author's permission?

I sell crocheted items, but I'm not an expert. If it's off a personal webiste I email the person and ask if it is their pattern. If it is and it's fine with them I don't think you should have a problem selling it. Getting around big bussiness policies can be more aggrivating. Some don't want you selling things on Ebay, some not on the web..... But If you have the authors permission I believe that is all you need.
Good luck on the auctions!
