I am chasing a pattern for a 3 year old girl for a cardigan/jacket.
I have Peter Pan Double Knit (8ply) and am looking for a pattern to use.

:cheer How are you at making your own pattern if I give you the idea?
Here is a picture of a cardigan I made for my 3 1/2yr old grandaughter. The only trouble was, she wanted it just Purple, no decoration so I had to take the pink fluff off but I am allowed to make some purple flowers to stitch onto the fronts.

It is made in a simple shell pattern, worked in one piece up to the armholes then the back is straight up and the fronts have a little bit of neck shaping.
The sleeves are worked either up or down. Shell pattern is not easy to increase or decrease but because they are only little sleeves, it can be done.
The sleeves could be worked as a straight piece anyway.
The fluff is just added onto ridges which are created when making the SC borders.
Took me less than a day to make.
Let me know if you would like a bit more info.
I have not written out the pattern but it is very simple.
Have fun.

PS, Are you keeping warm? Cold here but we had a nice sunny day today.

This is a nice one that can be done in a couple of sizes and even sized up. If you don't want it so heavy, you can use most any yarn:
