I don't know how I get myself into these things. :( I really don't like to make blankets...of any type. But the problem is I can't say NO! I'm finishing up a baby blanket that is approx 40x40in. To me if I can't have it finished in a few days IT TAKES TOO LONG!!
Anyway back to my reason for the post. I have to make another baby blanket. The baby's name will be Ivy. I would like to find a pattern for ivy to trim the blanket. It could be just the leaves and I can sew the motif on. Or anything right now to give me ideas.

Have you looked through CPC?

You could also graph clip art or your own sketch:

I saw this one. I liked it but I was trying to find more of a ivy leaf...I'm still looking. I have a little time still.

Try looking under Irish thread crochet jewelry. There's lots of roses with seperate viney/leafy stuff you could make with baby/sport yarn. Good luck with your search.
