I would like to find a nice jacket pattern to make for myself, have never made anything for myself before! I would like it to be fairly simple & work up quickly. I am a very small person, so nothing plus size please! I would like it to come below my waist, a cardigan would be ideal.
Thanks to all you ladies & gents!

I haven't made this one, and it is only written for a size small, but that might work for you.

You could also try what I think is called the 5-piece or 5 rectangle sweater? In essence, you make 5 rectangles: 2 for the sleeves, so you would make those the length you want your sleeve, worked to fit around your arm. Then you make 1 for the back, and either match it for the front for a pullover or make 2 more rectangles for the front sides, then seam it all together. You could then use your favorite stitches to make it. :yes
