I have looked throughout here and on the internet for a specific soaker pattern.
It would be single crochet panties with ribbed leg openings and ribbed waistband. Suitable for a boy
No legs, no fancy-ness ... just plain ordinary soakers. I have several knit patterns for this but nothing for crochet.

thanks for the link but even these have a form of legs ... think of a pair of boys briefs. that's what I'd like to copy ... however I will be saving your link to make as a pair of shorts
thanks!

Oh, I think I know what you want...instead of legs, you just want leg OPENINGS...kind of like the plastic pants you put over clothe diapers. Right?

The glamarama pattern is the closest but even this one hasn't the natural "elastic" quality of the knit pattern's waistband leg openings. The crochet pattern uses a drawstring and the others use diaper pins or elastic. I'm hoping to find one that requires nothing extra.
I wonder if I make the glamarama pattern and change to a smaller hook for the ribbing part?
I certainly appreciate having a website I can come to to get ideas!

You're probably going to have to adjust them to get exactly what you want.
