What would you make? :think It's navy blue, 60% acrylic, 40% mohair and super soft. I bought it as part of a kit (knitting, and I don't knit) for a sweater, mainly because the package advertised it as 100% wool and I wanted to learn to felt. I'm thinking maybe it got switched by whoever donated it, but I wound up with more than the package says. Woohoo! Now the question is... what to make with it? I was thinking a wearable, but I don't know of a good pattern for sportweight. Any of you lovely people have a suggestion? :hook

Calling for a G hook means sportweight, right? I should probably make sure of that first. :P

There are a lot of patterns for sport weight sweaters, but for the yardage you have you will need to do a short sleeve (or less). Remember, knitting takes less yarn than crochet.

Example, here are two that take slightly over 1000 yards, maybe you could squeak by or shorten the sleeves a bit:

This might work for all but the largest size if your yarn is equivalent to size 3 crochet cotton

There were several sport weight tank-y type tops in that section of CPC that you should have sufficient yarn for. Here are just a few...I didn't look through all of them, or research all the yarn weights so there are many more possibilities
