:manyheart Okay... All I'm looking for is a simple mouse pattern that actually looks like a nice mouse. But I'm having trouble finding patterns that still look good without having to add in all kinds of facial embelishments and stuff. I got a bunch of the feathery yarns and I just want something that's all crocheted (and stuffed, I've found a number that are hollow inside)...

If y'all know of any, could you please please please let me know???

There was a good one in the 2007 Crochet Pattern a Day calendar, if you can still get hold of a copy of that. I've made several with catnip in and they've been very well received!

Hi Frandi! I have one on my site that might be what you're looking for. It's made from eyelash yarn, stuffed with fiberfil and catnip, and the only embellishments are the ears.

The pattern can be found here (http://www.crochetkitten.com/files/Furry_Mouse_Toy.pdf).

I suggest you make the one from KristieMN.(Empress gave you the crochetville link to it)
I have made several minus the ears, etc...
they look like mice and our cats adore them with a little catnip and some polyfil

While we're on this subject... Some site I was on had a pattern for long... I don't know.. I don't want to say spiral, but the way they were crocheted were kinda curling/spiraling downward and they were really long.. maybe 12-18".... Anybody have any idea what I'm talking about?

How would I make that? (As you can tell, i'm not good at this....)

Do you mean something like this scarf pattern Frandi-Taynch?

The pattern is right there below it....if it is difficult for you to follow, there is a tutorial here to learn how to make curly spirals like that...

I made these for my cats: http://www.planetshoup.com/easy/crochet/mousewht.shtml

There's another one on Freepatterns.com under "Toys." Pattern calls for white felt for the ears and something for eyes.

A little off the subject...I have made several toys for my furbaby. :mouse Even the seal pattern from annie's attic pattern of the day, without ears . He loves them. Prob is that he is a yarn :yarn eater, which by the way is not good for them. :eek If you make the toys out of hemp they can't eat it, it lasts longer and the smell is strong enough that you don't have to use catnip. My cat simply LOVES the one I made with hemp and no catnip as much as the ones with. :cat
