View Full Version : My First Fulled Handbag!

I did it! Finally! Here is my bag. I didn't use a pattern so I am quite pleased with the result!! Here is a before and 2 after pics (showing how much the bag shrank and how it looked completely finished). What do you think?

Beautiful Bag!!! How did you attach the handles?

thanks. I had made four small holes in the top of the bag where I wanted the handles to go by skipping 2 sts and ch 2 over it . After it came out of the wash I was able to pull the handles through the holes and they were a perfect fit!

Great job! I can't wait to start making a bag to felt. I've got the wool....just need the time which should be coming up real soon. :knit

it's so cute! i haven't felted yet, or even FELT anything FELTED...lol....i am going to have to try that when things calm down. looks fun.
