Hi everyone

I have just joined last night and from what I have seen so far I absolutely love this forum. I could not sleep so was surfing for 3 hours during the night.

I am desperate to find a lacy type shawl which I think would be done from a filet pattern. I am attending a wedding at the end of April and it is "after 5" dress code. I have a lovely black dress to wear but want to spice it up a bit with a shawl. I would think it would be crochet with a thread of some kind and then tassles added.

I look forward to any help you can give me

Thanks:think

Here's a good place to start looking:

My first thought is the woman's day rose shawl:

Good luck and I can't wait to see what you decide on. Welcome!:yay

thanks for that. I actually have chosen the womans day rose shawl, it is exactly what I was looking for. I am located in Melbourne Australia and recently was given a gift voucher for a store here called Spotlight. I am going shopping this afternoon. YIPEE:clap

Great, I can't wait to see it. What color do you think you'll make it in?
