crochet cotton top

I'm looking for a pattern for a "thread" (crochet cotton) top ... my Mom used to make these so I know patterns exist ...

you could always pick a motif pattern that you like and play with it when you have many done and put it together like that.

Are you just looking for any top in thread? If so, you can probably find some at CPC, current crochet magazines, online stores.
