Not sure what its called!

i wanted to make an afghan like one big basic granny square,
but in rectangle instead.. how would i start it for that shape?
is there a pattern around?

It's just a rectngular granny ghan. i LOVE making these.

I do them a little differently than the instructions tho. If you look at the 3rd picture down you can see how I do my ends. Personally, I think the extra 3dc group in the ends makes the ghan wonky.

Also, I turn after every rounds. ch1, turn, sc in next ch sp, ch2 (counts as 1st dc) 2 more, dc (for 3dc group) and cont.
