Hi all!

I just wanted to throw this out there, cause I know you all have such wonderful loving and giving hearts :)h I love this place!

If you want to donate an item to a charity, either near you or don't care which state it goes to, but don't know where or how to send it, please feel free to email me (my addy is on the PSF website) or PM me and I will be happy to help you find a place! I have accumulated lots of contacts over the past three years at hospitals like:

The Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital
CS Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan
Children's Hospital of Michigan
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Ronald McDonald House (in several states and even Canada)
Loma Linda University Children's Hospital
Humane Society of Michigan
...and others!

So if you have it in your heart to donate a hat, blanket, scarves, mittens, anything but don't know where to send, please don't let that stop you! Just drop me a note and if you tell me the item and the area of the country you'd like to donate to, I will do my best to help you find the info you need to do it!

hugs

As a matter of fact I just took some leftover yarn afghans to my vet's clinic in the memory of a Quaker Parrot named :angel Joy who recently passed away after a long battle with a still unknown disease. Joy touched me deeply, and I wanted to do something....

don't forget the womens shelters

I really want to start donating to some but I haven't tracked down a way to get them to the shelter yet (as a lot of women's shelters don't publish their addresses for obvious reasons!) I'm on it though, I definitely want to send some stuff to them this year...thanks for the reminder Vicki!

Heather, I'm so sorry about Joy. It's so hard to lose a companion animal, I have been through that. I'm sure that she knew exactly how much you loved her!!! :grouphug
