I have looked everywhere and can't find what I'm looking for. I need a crocheted from the top down raglan sleeve sweater pattern. Ideally in ww yarn. I have alot of baby sweater patterns like that but no womans size. The one I'm looking for is joined under the arm and worked in a continual round so there is no sides seams. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Deb, I can't believe this. I am working on a baby sweater called Kelly's sweater. While crocheting, I ask myself, how come this pattern is not available for an adult size? This is a very easy pattern worked from the top down just like the one you are looking for. Maybe someone can find a pattern like this.

Art of Tangle has a number of patterns on their site:

And there's another one - I think it's in the Happy Hooker SNB book.
And another 'Ville member has a free pattern available on her blog - I thought it was called spring something or other, but I can't find it. It's a cropped short sleeve cardi/shrug in a light green color.....

I'm not talented enough to make my own! I've made that same baby sweater! The two links posted are pretty close. The green one is made with fingering yarn so if I could just find one in ww yarn...Don't want much do I???? thanks...

Ok - here's the cute cropped cardigan / shrug I was looking for. Since it's worked from the top down, you could always make it longer.

Also, if you have the Tahki Stacy Charles Crochet 2006 book, the shrug on the cover is worked all in one piece from the neck down - I've made this one and done it longer and added more rows to the sleeves to make those a bit longer too.

You could also try this one:

I've had great success doing this one using Lion Brand Wool-ease Chunky yarn and an N hook.

I know this is an old thread but I think it is great! A big "bump" for this thread!

I've also heard (haven't tried it myself) that if you measure your gauge, and then go to knittingfool.com and plug in your gauge measurements for whatever crochet stitch you're using, the pattern generator for the top down raglan will work just as well for crochet as it does for knit.
