Can anyone explain to me, step by step, how you crochet with beads?
I want to make a little "bag" with one beaded motif in the middle.
I donīt have a pattern, I just know how I want it to look like. But I donīknow how to do the beading part.

Have you thought about doing it in Tapestry Crochet. Tapestry Crochet is fairly easy... it's basically a single crochet, but you carry along another thread that has the beads on it. Check out Carol Ventura's page... she even has videos showing how it's done.

Good luck!

I've always prestrung the beads. I also have only done it with single crochet, you form the stitch around the bead. I crochet with beads and wire (necklaces) freeform (no pattern used), the pics are in my Flickr link in my sig line. Tapestry crochet is a great way to show off bead crochet as well. EDIT I see someone already posted Carol Ventura's site, she has some great examples of how to do bead tapestry crochet on her site. She also has a tapestry crochet group on Yahoo Groups.
