blankets for linus

My mom and I dropped off 6 blankets for project linus yesterday, 1(I started fro someone else, who I decided if they couldn't write a Thank You note for a gift, wasn't getting anything else from me!)crocheted, 1 fleece w/crochet edge, and 4 that my mom quilted in someway.
My mom questioned me about giving the one away, but I sadi someone who deserves it might as well get them.

You're probably right. And they probably didn't need it either. I think that for a lot of people who can go out and buy a couple blankets for not a lot don't really understand what's going into crochet. (Or quilting)
Fleece with crocheted edges? interesting.

I have several WIP baby blankets. When I finish the projects I'm working on now (they all have deadlines), I going to finish all the blankets I have started and find a Linus Project to give them too.

Ooh, I am like a kid that was just given a whole candy store. :c9 A friend of mine @ church gave me 2 bags of yarn, ear marked for Project Linus. I was so excited, I pulled it all out when I got home, :think started planning & actually started the first one. This morning I frogged one her Aunt had started - no way of finishing, so I will recycle the yarn for another blanket.:yay
