I am posting my first dishcloth.....nothing exciting, but it is the first full "project" that I've finished :clap :clap (my afghan is coming along nicely - I've posted updated pictures on my blog). .

I worked this up this afternoon while I was riding the tram around Brussels to go shopping (stopped by the yarn store to pick up some cotton for the hotpads I am making next). I used Coat's Anchor Magic which turned out nicely - I like bright colors so its perfect for me! :yay

Lovely colours. Now you could add matching table mats, hotpads. Actually, that colour combination would be really pretty on a bag, too.;)
It's nice to have a couple of small projects while one is working on a big one. (Unless you are like me and spend lots of time on the small ones forgetting about the main one:lol )

That is very tropical! you did a great job and I'm sure you are gonna make more. You know, the next swap here at Crochetville is for kitchen items such as dishclothes! something for you to think about.

Thank you everyone! The yarn is self striping - they have a range of various different self-striping and multi color yarn...I've yet to find it anywere but on a German Coats web site, so I am assuming that its only sold in continental Europe, or else its sold elsewhere under a name other than "Anchor Magic"
Hmmm....dishcloth swap....kitchen swap.....:eek Let me think on those for a few days - not sure if I am ready yet to subject my crocheting on others :lol
