I did this a few years ago with my mom. I crocheted and she knitted some. We used old yarn we had from other projects. It was so quick and easy.

Yep another charity I've seen around. I'm intersted in doing a crochet along charity and thought about maybe choosing diff charities every couple of months maybe this could be 1 of them :wink

you can do this locally too, the fire departments and also police departments are always looking for little animals(doesn't have to be crocheted) that they can give the children when they are traumatized. it is a great program and is one of which i donate a lot of stuffed animals too. you can never know how much this has helped alot of little ones. call and ask your local precincts or firehouses and ask them if they participate. vicki:sun

I have a police station right down the street , thinkin I should just call them and ask if they would take some. Maybe even my kiddos could get some of their friends to all donate a teddy.
