beaded backpack and purse

I found this packpack pattern on Lionbrand a couple of years ago. After being here for awhile I tried it. Used leftover ponybeads and RH.

I made these for my neighbor's upcoming 12th birthday. Everybody here is so inspirational. These were my first bead projects. I love beads and they were so easy to make. Each took less than 2 hours a piece.

Hey they look fantastic. I have not tried beading yet, but this afternoon I have made up the insert for a hook case, and if it works out well, the next one I am going to try beading on the outside

I hope you can find a little stretch of time to make a purse. They do actually go very fast. The beading is quicker than you would think.
