Thread patterns

I got some 100% polyester thread (it came in a bag with other yarn that I found at a thrift store) but I don't like making doilies or bedspreads or bookmarks... so, what else can one make with thread? :think
I've seen some real pretty braceletes and necklaces, even flowers...
Is there anything else to do using thread ? :(
