Hi, I have been a lurker for a while and have made a lot of fun things from the sites offered here. Pocket pals are free on the web site crochet pattern central. I don't know how to copy sites yet sorry. Just look under animals, and pocket pals is listed in the second column. Hope this helps.

IMO, I think most Amigurumi patterns would be considered pocket pals. They are little, furry and cute. I might be wrong, but it sounds good to me. :hook

I've got a book i think maybe from annie's attic, with pocket pals. it has mini stuffies. animals, airplane, a little doll, etc etc etc.

it's a cute book. I've made one project from it so far.

I saw a pattern that describes what you're looking for either at the lion brand website or coats and clark.
