I have some skeins of Redheart Super Saver in my stash that I will finally make into an afghan for charity. My first one. The colors are dark red and black and I would add on some grey if more is needed. I know this yarn can soften up really well after washing and is a durable yarn for long wear.
Wondering what great easy patterns are out there for this. I can start a giant granny square afghan but wonder if Crochetville can surprise me with something amazing in the way of afghan patterns.
I typically make preemie and infant items for charity using baby yarn. :c9
Thanks!

The pattern of a round ripple is a baby pattern but works up great using Red Heart Super Saver. Also the colors you have would look great
Which ever pattern you use please make sure you take some pictures

I really like some of the ideas from http://www.happyyellowhouse.com/
I made the squares and started creating my own designs with them.

I have after some consideration (and looking at all the cool patterns on the links you guys listed) have started a round ripple.
I love to crochet in the round and make hats so this is right up my alley. The pattern is taking some getting used to. I have only had to unravel one round since it wasn't laying flat so I decided to alter things and make the shells smaller earlier than later. It should work out tho, at least it is fun to watch it grow.
Thanks for the ideas for other future projects.
I'll post a pic when I finish.
Cheers! ;)
