My cousin has asked me to make her daughter a poncho. She really loves ponchos. I've only made two ponchos, and that was the super lacey one. I can't remember what it was, but it was just a really open one, with a mesh stitch.

But, what are peoples' favourite girls poncho patterns? SHe wants it to be pink. She's probably about 11 or so.

I can't decide.

I just made the Lion Brand Martha's Coming Home Poncho for an 11 year old and she loved hers. Its a free pattern on the Lion Brand site.

Good Luck! :)

I love the bluesy pattern, if you have a look in the cal section there was a crochet along using it, I made two, one for me and one for my little girl, its done in v stitch and you make 2 rectangles and sew them up in a very clever way! :)

capelet patterns are really nice - they're not as long, so they don't get caught in or drag through things.

I made the lionbrand one with boulce and fun fur, that one was super easy although the bulce is a pain in the tukis to see your stitches.
