When I talked to my company's risk management guy a few minutes ago, I found out that, as soon as I go back to work, I will have to wear a back brace/belt, since I do have to lift and maneuver my clients/students a good bit.
At first, I thought I'd try to make or locate a crochet pattern to cover the new "wardrobe accessory", but then my hubby suggested a vest or wearing it between 2 t-shirts.
Then I thought about y'all. I can go to a pattern site, and find patterns, but I suspect alot of you already have experience with what works & what doesn't.
I'm EXTREMELY hot-natured, and it's still near 100deg these days, with inconsistent air conditioning in our classroom, so I'd need something done in probably a cotton, and something that I could finish within the next few days. (Every week, I hope I'll be cleared to go back to work the next week.....)
I don't necessarily need the brace completely covered, but I don't want a big slash of black across my back and shoulders, either.
Any ideas?
