Hi everyone -

My family moved about 3.5 years ago from Colorado to Arizona and I miss CO soooo much, especially now, with Fall coming :cry. I was wondering is anyone has a basic Maple leaf or any single leaf filet pattern????

Some leafy links, not all filet. The Maple Leaf luncheon set is a placemat sized filet leaf, but it's a grape leaf not really a Maple leaf (close, though). The Vine & Trellis afghan has a color chart you should be able to adapt to filet.

This is a link to complete antique books from 1850-1920, it's hard to search but you can do a ctrl+F to find books whose descriptions contain the words filet or leaf. I KNOW I saw a lot of filet leaves in there but I'm not sure where, now. It may take a while to look through these, but it's a lot of fun :)

If you find a maple leaf graphic you like, you can make your own filet chart

Good luck! (I moved from CA to OR last year and am still getting used to 4 seasons :lol )

The leaves are starting to change in the high country and viewing will be at its peak at the end of the month. The road to Mount Evans has already been closed for the season because of snow.

Personally I miss the New England autumns. They're more colorful than Colorado's....

I came across this site for a filet leaf: http://www.crochettreasures.com/freepatterns/free6.htm
Here's another link for multiple leaves, though they are not all filet: http://crochet.about.com/od/fall/a/leaves.htm

Here's one in the antique link, page 14, a leaf border (under the swan).

There's some maple-y leaves in the border of the peackock pillow, another grape leaf

I know there are more, still looking...
