Hello all,:clap

I am seeking an Heirloom Christening Pattern, to crochet using thread or mercerized cotton. I wanted to make a long dress, bonnet, booties and blanket for my niece's baby girl (not yet born). The pattern can be free or for purchase. Thank you in advance for your efforts.

I know there are some patterns for christening gowns available on ebay. Might want to check it out.

This is one of my current wip's. I had to buy the pattern leaflet off of ebay, because it's out of print. It's called the Christening collection leaflet #2568 from Leisure Arts. I love how it's turning out.

There's a superb pattern in a book called Crochet in No Time by Melody Griffiths: it's done in silk but you can do it in merc cotton, it uses a E/4 hook and ther's a bonnet and bootees too.
Absolutely fabulous: in fact I offered to make it for a friend but she decided on a little jacket that her baby boy could wear after as well.
But this pice would definately be a much treasured heirloom.

GOOD LUCK!!
