arch measure?

apparently i have about the fattest foot ever!

i am going to attempt "Lavender Delight" from crochet Stocking Feet (http://www.maggiescrochet.com/pages/Leaflets/ASN_Annies/AA_873553_stocking_feet_main.htm)

it says:

Fits up to 7", 8", 8 1/2", or 9" around arch.



mine is measuring 9 1/2 - there abouts???:eek

am i doing something wrong?
i mean i know i have wide feet (just like my @$$) but, i don't ALWAYS have to buy wide width - not even usually, just on some select heels...?:think
these numbers just make me think my foot is obese - great, now i have to deal with biased foot patterns too:( :P

Hmm... mine measuring 8.5 inches, and consider myself to have very tiny feet! Size 6.5 in shoes.

So far I've only made socks for people with 9.5" (me) or larger feet. ;) I'd say you're measuring right.

yay! well that's good to know. although, i think i might be reading the pattern wrong... i'm just not sure if this is turning out right. i may post some pics sometime soon... to have some of you sock goddesses take a peek:P

IIRC, mine is 9.5 or 10... I have huge monster feet! :elle

You're probably measuring right... can't wait to see the socks you're working on! :hook
