I'm so behind! My niece's 1st birthday is on Sunday and it's now Friday night! I need a quick, cute pattern to make her a gift! Please help! I can't seem to find anything right now! Any other time and sure, I end up finding a whole bunch of stuff I want to make but now now! WTF??!!
Please email me any cool, quick patterns for a 1 year old. Hats, quick wraps anything!:eek

I've made tons for the toddlers in my life. I just used whatever WW yarn I had and one strand only rather than the two called for.
I skip the button and use velcro.
It works up fast and perfect for little ones.

I made one similar in cream w/ pink edging and sewed on a little flower. With a matching headband it was a cute gift that took less than 2 hours to make.

I'm not sure if a purse would be appropriate because she's still sort of a 'baby" even thought she's turning 1. I like the poncho idea. I have about 11 hours left to make it, not including sleeping time! Yikes!

My niece liked her purse at 2 months. :) Aggie May's poncho is cute and fast. And one year olds are still little.
