Hello all. I bought some beautiful, handmade wool yarn at the LA county fair this week, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. It's light blue/brown varigated, about sport weight, and I only have 4.85 oz. of it. I don't really want to make yet another scarf, particularly since I live in Southern California and don't really wear my other ones that much. It'd be nice to make a shawl or something like that out of it, but I'm not sure I have enough yarn. Any ideas?

Could you post a photo of the yarn so we can how the varigations are worked?

Here's a list of shawls for you to look though:

Have you thought about a hat? Doesn't have to be a closed, tight hat. There are plenty to look though here:

If you have enough left over, you can make a small matching bag.
